Dr Syed E. Junaid

Dr. Junaid is a specialist radiologist with expertise in all aspects of General, Musculoskeletal, and Sports imaging diagnosis (Ultrasound, CT, MRI, X-ray & Nuclear medicine) and intervention (injections, biopsies, ablations).

Dr. Junaid completed his medical training at Imperial College London with Distinctions, followed by radiology training in South Wales where he specialized in Musculoskeletal and Sports imaging. Following this, he completed a further specialist one-year fellowship at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London, UK’s largest tertiary musculoskeletal and sarcoma referral center. He has won multiple international awards for his work in Radiology. He has particular expertise in complex ultrasound and CT-guided procedures.

He is a full-time NHS consultant in Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend. Dr. Junaid has a keen interest in research with published work in peer-reviewed journals and is an Honorary Research Associate at Swansea University.
