Patient experiences

What patients say.

Verified Google reviews from real Acorn Private Clinic patients.

★★★★★
The Acorn team are fantastic. Had severe pain in my foot and ankle area. Was seen by Pretesh who referred me for an ultrasound and then injection using ultrasound of my tendon with Dr Junaid. Was really scared to be honest at first as I am dead scared of needles but Dr Junaid was very good and skilled. Pain is now much better.

★★★★★
I would thoroughly recommend Acorn clinic. Personally I have been very well looked after by Pretesh — I got in touch re pain in my foot, and after having insoles in my shoes and then a scan, followed by a cortisone injection, my pain has now gone! All within weeks!

Do I need a GP referral?

No. You can self-refer for any orthopaedic consultation at Acorn Private Clinic. Book online or call 029 2199 9300.

Your consultant will discuss your symptoms, review any prior imaging, perform a clinical examination, and discuss treatment options. This may include:

Non-surgical management — physiotherapy, splinting, activity modification
Further diagnostics — same-week ultrasound or MRI
Injection therapy — ultrasound-guided steroid, HA, PRP or Arthrosamid®
Surgical options — if appropriate

You leave with a clear, personalised treatment plan.
