Shoulder and Upper Arm Ultrasound
Painful or Stiff Shoulder?
A shoulder ultrasound is often the first-line test for shoulder pain and problems.
Ultrasound is good at assessing the various tendons and ligaments of the complex shoulder joint, the muscles, the bursa, and the sub-joints.
Rotator cuff tears or inflammation are one of the most common shoulder problems and ultrasound is one of the best ways of diagnosing rotator cuff tears or inflammation.
