How much is the Standard Health Screen?
£138 all inclusive. That covers the blood draw and urine sample, all eight panels, and a plain-English report with reference ranges emailed to you, usually the next day. A £50 deposit secures your appointment and comes off the total.
What does the screen cover?
Eight areas in one appointment: a full blood count, kidney health, liver health, heart and cholesterol markers, diabetes markers, bone chemistry and iron status, plus a full urinalysis. That is 39 blood markers alongside a nine-part urine test, including vitamin D, ferritin, HbA1c and cholesterol. You can see the full list, panel by panel, in the section above.
Do I need to fast before the screen?
A light fast can help, mainly for the glucose and cholesterol markers, so a morning appointment after an overnight fast with plain water is ideal. It is not essential, and we can still run the screen if you have eaten. Keep taking any regular medication as normal unless your own doctor has said otherwise, and let us know what you take.
Does it include a urine test?
Yes. Alongside the blood profile, the screen includes a urinalysis that checks your urine for signs of infection, blood, protein, glucose and more. You provide a quick urine sample at the same appointment as your blood draw.
What is hs-CRP, in the heart panel?
hs-CRP is high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, a marker of low-level inflammation in the body. It is included in the heart panel because inflammation is one of the factors considered alongside cholesterol when thinking about cardiovascular health. Like the other markers, it is best interpreted by a doctor in the context of your overall picture.
How quickly will I get my results?
Usually the next day. Your report groups every marker by panel, each with its reference range, and flags anything outside the normal range. We will confirm timing when you book.
Is this a good general MOT for my health?
