About

Meet Huw

Dr Huw Edwards is a Consultant Radiologist with specialist expertise in musculoskeletal and sports imaging, alongside general radiology.

He qualified from Imperial College London with Honours and the AICSM (Associate of the Imperial College School of Medicine), then completed radiology training including subspecialist work in musculoskeletal and sports imaging. He holds Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR).

At Acorn, Dr Edwards reports a wide range of ultrasound and MRI scans — shoulders, knees, ankles, hands, sports injuries and general abdominal scans — and performs ultrasound-guided injection therapy.

Patients value Dr Edwards for taking the time to explain findings clearly on the scan, rather than just sending a report. Bring a difficult shoulder, a stubborn knee or a sports injury that won't settle — he's a careful, methodical diagnostician.
